QB Derek Iannapollo (#10) hands off to Hunter West (#33) with Cole Keim (#67) blocking in the Cards opening drive which got inside Mannford's 3 yard line but produced no points turning the ball over on downs there.
Collinsville's (colorful) traveling crowd overflowed the small east bleachers at Mannford (as usual) showing their support for the Cardinals.
Keenan Priddy (#40) recovered a Mannford fumble at their 17 yard line with 5:33 left in the first quarter. But for the second possession in a row the Cards failed on 4th down and turned the ball back to Mannford (this time at the 13 yard line).
Danial Billups (#54) takes on a Mannford defender as Derek Iannapollo (#10) has just received the snap and Bradley Paterson (74) and Issac Dyer (#23) look for someone to block.
Collinsville's defenders kept Mannford in check for most of the evening.
Mannford did have an opportunity to score the first points but this field goal (from about the 10 yard line) was wide leaving the game scoreless at 6:41 in the 2nd quarter.
Once Issac Dyer (#23) eluded this defender he had a wide open path to the goal scoring the game's first points on a 15 yard run with 4:40 left in the first half (above) and sparking the celebration below including T.J. Johnson (#6). Ken Lor kicked the extra point for a 7-0 score that was still posted at half time.
