Hannah's Helping Hands, Inc. — Our Mission
We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization providing financial assistance to families with children battling cancer. Many families need help with the most basic needs for their families during this fight for their child’s life. Some must leave work for months and even years to care for their sick child and the financial loss can be devastating. Our goal is to help as many families being treated locally as possible. We help with basic needs such as gas & food cards, groceries, wigs, utility payments, prescriptions, medical co-payments, rent/housing as well as other expenses. Our referrals come from doctors, nurses and staff at a local children’s hospital in Tulsa as well as our local communities.

It was mentioned at the emergency school board meet this morning that the extent of damage to the gym floor was still being evaluated and might even require a "core sample" to determine the best remedy. The photo above shows several sections which appear to be covered in an attempt to remove moisture.

The Collinsville School Board 10am Friday in an emergency session to "approve emergency repairs to the High School building from storm related damages received on Wed. morning a.m. August 10, 2011". A letter will be sent to the state capitol for additional approval (including the Governor) which would allow a streamlined process to make repairs without the normal competitive bid & protest periods. School official are also still waiting for final assessment from the insurance company. -- Ted 10:30am Friday Aug. 12, 2011
