Coach Redding's Report
October, 11th- 14th

Sallee field was the place to be Thursday night, as the Collinsville Cardinals, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade programs took on the Pryor Tigers. The 7th grade battled not only the Tigers, but also the “ injury bug”. With several Cardinal players on the “injury reserve” the Cardinals had a tough time trying to bring down the massive running backs of the Tigers. Collinsville tied the score late in the 4th quarter (6-6), but Pryor put together a last minute drive to win by a score of 12-6. The 7th grade (4-1) will play Skiatook next week.
The 8th and 9th grade teams put together an aerial assult and blazing running attack against the Tigers. The 8th grade (4-1) led by a score of 30-0 at half. The final score 30-14. The 9th grade (4-1) had just 1 snap at the end of 1st quarter, and led 14-8.By the end of the 4th quarter, the Cardinals win by a score of 41-14. Both teams play Skiatook next week.
We would like to thank our Quarterback Club for the meal they provided after the game. The “dogs” hit the spot. Also, we want to thank you for the spirit paks you provide for each player. The T-shirt and shorts allow us to dress as a “Team.” The 9th grade also receives a hoodie to keep us warm in the cold days of November.
Freshman Trevor Townsend missed the game Thursday due to a death in the family. Please remember Trevor and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
