HS State Track Results in 5/18/2010 Tulsa World -- Collinsville Girls Team 10th & Boys 19th

Freshman Kendall Curtis placed 3rd in boys high jump at State Track Meet -- Jim Riley 5/17/2010
Jenny Dyer adds a 1st and 3rd at State Meet. Dyer won the 3,200 m run and was 3rd in the 800 meter. Earlier in the day Jenny ran on the 3,200 relay and got a 6th place medal. -- Jim Riley 2:06pm Monday May 17th -- [2:16 update: Issac Dyer placed 6th in the Boys 800 m run.]
Collinsville Girls 2 mile relay placed 6th in the Class 5A State Track Meet with a time of 10:16. Team members include Jenny Dyer, Elizabeth Blissit, Haley Taylor, and Taylor Captain. -- Jim Riley (10:30am May 17) -- Ted 12:22pm

State Track Info From Jenny Dyer

Just though I'd give you some pictures and a heads up on what happened yesterday at the state track meet. It was held at East Central as a one day meet because of the rain delays Friday and Saturday.

The girls 3200m relay placed sixth (top six teams medal at state) in the state with a 10:17, team members include Elizabeth Blissit(fr.), Haylee Taylor(So.), Taylor Captain(So.), and Jenny Dyer(Sr.) Jenny Dyer won the 3200m run with an 11:44 and Haylee Taylor placed sixth in the same race with a 12:38. Isaac Dyer(so.) medaled in the open eight hundred placing sixth with a 2:05. Jenny Dyer medaled in the open eight hundred placing third with a 2:23. Jenny Dyer also won the 1600m run in 5:20.

Today at six o'clock Jenny will be competing in the "Meet of Champs" in Moore, Oklahoma. This meet is for all the track and field state champions and state runners up in Oklahoma to compete against each other regardless of class. Jenny will be competing in the 3200m and 1600m.
