Final H.S. Football Gathering For Collinsville All-Stars
These recently graduated CHS Cardinals participated in the 18th annual Green Country All-Star football game Friday May 22, 2009. L-R: Alex Goossen (5), Jared Billups, Lane Coulter (8), Marlon Craft, Kyle Rush (32) and Trey Rogers (67). The game played at Verdigris was a scoreless tie per the 5/23/2009 Tulsa World (with a likely correction of Goossen instead of Ceoosser?).

The undergraduate (2009) CHS football Cardinals will have their final spring practice (in pads) Tuesday 26th (& physicals later the same day). More CHS football summer activities in Coach West's letter.
Historic Downtown Collinsville: Photo Destination
This couple and their wedding party arrived in Historic Downtown Collinsville Saturday afternoon (May 23) and took a variety of photos in the newly rennovated downtown streetscape area. When I asked if they were from Collinsville, the bride replied "No, we are from Owasso but they don't have such interesting buildings."
But, it does make you wonder with all the "new" stuff we have downtown, that photographers are still attracted to the oldest most weathered doors. -- Ted
City Agendas Online
I've been checking periodically since the new city site went online March 5th but hadn't found agendas from the calendar events, but found out last week that they can be found from "Online Tools" then "Document Central".
I don't know yet how timely they will be as agenda's are typically posted Friday afternoons for Monday meetings. -- Ted 5/24/2009 -- (Previous comment)
Gas Prices Up For Summer?
I haven't covered gas prices for months as they were stable and below $2/gallon for so long. But in the past few weeks the prices have been climbing again just in time for increased summer travel. The Saturday May 23, 2009 price at the S-Curve was $2.25 for a gallon of regular.
