Cardinal Football Parents:

I wanted to thank you for the opportunity to be apart of your child’s life as their football coach. I hope that we are all apart of something bigger than any of us…a program one to be admired and respected by all. I welcome those new to our program and invite you to be a positive and supportive part of it! We have had several good things happen within the program and it is in large part to the quality of parental support and backing from our parents and supporters.

Here is a tentative Spring and Summer Football schedule (any changes will be posted on our school’s website, www.collinsville.k12.ok.us under “Athletics” and then “Cardinal Football”, online at www.cvilleok.com, in the local newspaper, and/or in a note to your child):

May 4 - 22: 11:00 - 11:55 a.m. JH “Spring Ball” (no pads),
8th and 9th grade athletes (as of next year) will be going through football drills during their regularly scheduled athletic period.

May 6: 5:30 p.m. 7th Grade (next year) Parents Meeting in the HS Commons Area

May 13: 5:30 p.m. 8th Grade (next year) Parents Meeting in the HS Commons Area

May 18-22, 26: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. HS “Spring Ball" (pads),
10th thru 12th grades @ practice field

May 26: 6:00 p.m. Physicals for 7th thru 12th grade athletes
@ the High School…we will pre-enroll during the weeks ahead of this event…more info later.
The cost is $15 and the physicals will be conducted by Eastern Oklahoma Orthopedic Center (EOOC).

June 1-3: 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. Varsity Team Camp @ Lincoln Christian
Bus leaves the HS @ 7:15 a.m.
1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Junior Varsity and 9th Grade Team Camp @ Lincoln
Bus leaves the HS @ 11:45 p.m.
* This is the first year we have taking our 9th Grade Team. As of right now, we are scheduled to participate in the camp as another “JV” team so we will have two teams competing at the same time…should be good for us.

June 9, 16, 23, July 7, 14: 6:00 p.m. HS (9th thru 12th) “Passing League” @ Lincoln Christian -- No cost…only will include our “skill” positions on offense and defense (no lineman). We will have sign-ups for these during the “Spring Ball” practices.

June 18, 25, July 9, 16, 23: 6:00 p.m. JH (7th and 8th) “Passing League @ Collinsville (Sallee Field). -- No cost…only will include our “skill” positions on offense
(TENTATIVE) and defense (no lineman). More info on this later.

July 6: 7:00 - 8:30 a.m. High School (10-12) “Summer Pride”
August 7: 8:45 - 9:45 a.m. 9th grade “Summer Pride”
10:00 - 11:00 a.m. 7th and 8th grade “Summer Pride”
All workouts will be held in the High School Weight Room located behind the High School.

August 10: 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. 2nd annual “Cardinal Combine” @ Sallee Field.
We will be testing all of our “Summer Pride” participants in combine-like events. It is a “come and test” event. The athletes can leave after testing. We are testing for improvement over the summer. We will also have a “quick” Parents Meeting at the field for the upcoming football season.

August 10: 3:00 p.m. 9th and High School Team meeting in High School
Commons Area…players only.

August 11: First day of practice…practice schedules will be handed out during the last weeks of “Summer Pride”.
