Christmas Trash Schedule
Ted – could you please put on your site the Christmas Trash Schedule? Thursday the 25th there will be no pick-up. If your normal day is Thursday it will be picked up on Friday, and if Friday is your normal day it will get picked up on Saturday.

Silent Auction
Bidding will close by 4pm Saturday Dec. 13, 2008 at the Collinsville Library for items in the annual pre-Christmas event. Items have traditionally been Christmas decorations or miniture trees but a few large toys have been added this year thanks to donations by Wanda Sanders.

The huge turnaround in gasoline prices in less than half a year appears to still be in progress. A gallon of regular unleaded gas was available for $1.49 Dec. 8, 2008 in Collinsville. (Previous Coverage at $1.79 Nov. 11th)
Coach Jim Riley supplied the CHS & JrHi wrestler rosters below. The team photo session is not scheduled until January, but will reuse the names then when the photo is available. -- Ted

All profits for the gift wrapping business will benefit Ward-Wiseman Animal Haven. Donna Perdue, who has wrapped for years at her Hallmark shop in Duncan, is our professional in charge of creating beautiful gifts for you to give your friends and loved ones.

All proceeds benefit our pets at WWAH and give us a start on next year's budget. Too Blonde Salon donated a corner of their shop for our fund raiser.

The Holiday Parade is at 11:00 with Miss Oklahoma, Kelsey Cartwright, as our Grand Marshall. Miss Oklahoma will sign autographs on the Plaza at noon.
Friends of the Collinsville Library are hosting their annual Silent Auction which ends at 4:30
Drawing for Merchant Giveaway on Centennial Plaza at 5:00 P.M. as we light the beautiful Plaza Tree.
CV Merchants are hosting open houses and lots of sales for our visitors.
