A Bit of USA In Australia
July 4th is not Independence Day in Australia, but my daughter Emily had a "USA Party" there with her Aussie friends including this cake she made (& a few sparklers). -- Ted Wright
Sock Puppets
Several youth made their own custom sock puppets at the Collinsville Library Thursday July 9, 2009.
Another Mystery Bus
Again, I don't know where it's been nor where it was headed but it's been a long time since I seen a bus of this vintage. Perhaps another reality show? ... passing through Historic Downtown Collinsville.
Street Signs Restored
Collinsville visitors will have a better chance of finding their way around Historic Downtown Collinsville now with one more finishing touch to the downtown streetscape project. New signs marking 10th to 12th on Main Street were installed this week.
Note: I'm still waiting for the "Crimson Cadet Boulevard" sign to re-appear ... following the the Main Street Bridge construction near American Bank of Oklahoma. (Previous Coverage)
Also Note: I'm in no hurry for the Kelsey Cartwright (Miss Oklahoma) signs to go away. -- Ted
