First Transition In 24 years -- Terry Due (left) will take over the Collinsville Public School Superintendent's job in January 2010 with the retirement of Pat Herald (right). Due was the first person hired (below) by Herald back in 1986. Herald took over the top school job from Neil Ridley in 1986.

I had a 1938 news article for the early info but still need to fill in a few gaps for the more modern times. I suspect some of the Indian Territory (pre-statehood) names were more likely the only or head school teacher rather than an administrator only. -- Ted Wright 12/11/2009
Terry Due was the CHS Head Football Coach for nine years from 1986-1994. Terry became CHS Principal in 1995 and then Assistant Superintendent in Jan. 2005 after serving as an assistant to Craig Creech for half a school year while the new middle school was being built.

At a brief retirement ceremony before his final school board meeting (Dec. 10, 2009) Pat Herald received a State of Oklahoma proclamation from State Representative Earl Sears (left).
Pat Herald was joined by his family (above) at the Dec. 10th retirement gathering.
