Additional Herald Classrooms
The steel for new classrooms being added to the back of Herald Elementary is stacked and ready while foundation work continues.
Additional CHS Classrooms
The steel framework of the new classrooms at Collinsville High School was taking shape quickly this past week or so.
The 7 new CHS classrooms (one, a double sized computer testing room) & 8 Herald classrooms were part of the $8.9 million bond approved by Collinsville voters in March 2008. Additional school bond details (Feb. 2008).
The pad for the CHS addition was completed a few days before this Nov. 12th photo.
Preparing For Dec. 9th Concert
With marching season ended (except for the Dec. 13th Christmas Parade) the Collinsville bands have turned their attention to concert music. They will perform Tuesday December 9th at CHS for their annual winter concert.
