Band Award: Saxon Lewis was announced as the winner of the John Philip Sousa
Award at the May 4th CHS Band Banquet. Saxon
posed with his Dad, Ron Lewis band director.
2007-2008 Band Seniors:
Christine Blue, Kelsey Haymaker, Jeff James. Kyle Keith, Saxon Lewis, Kailiana
Odom, Chris Pelton, Emilee Richburg, and Kristen Whaley.
Cameron
Storm was presented the Woody Herman Jazz award by Assistant Band Director Heath
Miller.
Freshman
Paisley Eberle won the Patrick Gillmore under classman award.
Just
a few of the boosters given special recognition & thanks.
The
band's spring concert is Thursday May 15th followed by a booster meeting.
