It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
Steve Branen (on the roof) and Steve Barnes were working to get a large Christmas wreath to the top of the Bank of the Lakes building at 12th and Broadway Tuesday. I'm guessing there will be a Branen family entry in the Christmas Parade Saturday? -- Ted
Small World
Mike Calhoun and Kelsey Cartwright (Miss Oklahoma) were both surprised to find themselves on the same flight returning from Los Angeles (to Tulsa) earlier this year. Kelsey had been in LA filming a Miss America reality show. Mike had been attending a class in Reno for the Washington County Rural Water District #5. Their families have been friends for years in Collinsville and they enjoyed the unplanned visit. Kelsey will be in Collinsville to lead the Christmas Parade Saturday (Dec. 13th). She will then participate in the Tulsa parade later the same day.
TLC Reality Show Link: "Miss America Countdown To The Crown" -- Shows air on Fridays from Jan 2nd through Jan 23rd (9pm Central Time), followed by the live Miss American Pageant finals Saturday Jan. 24th, 2009.
