Kyle
Rush (#32) had the ball knocked loose but fought to retain this fumble for Collinsville
at the 19 yard line on the opening possession in the 2nd half.
Collinsville
attempted to convert a 4th and inches play (above) a few plays into the 2nd
half but ended up turning the ball over on downs leaving Oologah only 29 yards
to take a lead they never gave up.
Oologah
tied the score at 8-8 on this 6 yard run at 8:57 in the 3rd quarter. The extra
point kick hit the goal post but still made it thru for a 1 point lead at 8-9.
Kevin
Phillips gained 6 yards on this play on Collinsville's 3rd possession of the
2nd half.
Kyle
Rush moved Collinsville out to their own 35 on this play in Collinsville's 3rd
possession of the 2nd half.
Collinsville
had reached their own 45 on the 3rd 2nd-half possession (with a pass to Kevin
Philips from the 36 to the 45) but the pitch (left) was a bit behind Kevin on
the next play and Oologah recovered at the Cardinal 40 with 2:59 left in the
3rd quarter.
Immediately
after the fumble recovery, Oologah reached the Cardinal 11 yard line on this
pass (left). An offside penalty and a 6 yard run (above) put Oologah up 8-15
at 2:36 in the 3rd quarter.
Collinsville
blocked Oologah's PAT kick attempt with Jared Billups trying to chase down the
block (which was not allowed to be advanced). The block kept the score at 8-15
Oologah
had added two more 4th quarter touchdowns and led 8-29 before Merin Oakley (#30)
reached the Cardinal 40 yard line and picked up a first on this 4th down play
in the final Cardinal possession.
Jared
Billups (#4) converted this 4th down play to Oologah's 38 yardline on the final
Collinsville possession.
This
Dalton Rasmussen catch got Collinsville to the Oologah 32 in the closing minutes
of the game.
Merin
Oakley appeared ready to catch this Lane Coulter pass but the defender's hit
dislodged the ball and drew a personal foul flag giving Collinsville a first
down at the Oologah 15 yard line. A sack pushed Collinsville back to the 27.
Collinsville lost a fumble two plays later along with their best opportunity
for a second half score as Oologah ran out the clock for an 8-29 final score.
