Collinsville Stopped Wagoner
Only Once In First Half
And Made Only One First Down
Improved 2nd Half But 14-49 Loss

This "Cardinal" Cheerleader was flapping her wings but couldn't stay airborne Friday.

Collinsville's defense had trouble stopping Wagoner consistantly but did get in some hits. This stop was at the Cardinal 9 yard line on Wagoner's 1st possession.

This was Wagoner's first touchdown at 5:59 in the first quarter. The Wagoner pass was from the Card's 17 yard line on 3rd down & 11.

Kevin Phillips intercepted this pass near mid-field on Wagoner's 2nd possession of the game. The Card defenders in the right photo rushed the passer near the 25 yard line and Kevin got blocks in the left photo to return the ball to Wagoner's 33 yard line with 3:20 left in the 1st quarter. Collinsville could not advance any closer and Jared Billups punted after 3 plays from the 44 (to the 9) while trailing only 0-7.

Merin Oakley with a 7 yard gain to the Cards 32 in the 2nd quarter for what was the Cardinals only first half 1st down.

Lane Coulter made this pitch to Jarred Billups just before he was taken down by a Wagoner defender in the 2nd quarter. Wagoner was up by 3 touchdowns by this time.

This Wagoner pass (between 3 Cardinal defenders) reached Collinsville's 22 yard line a few plays before Wagoner scored their 4th TD less than 4 minutes before halftime.

The offensive line had their hands full in the first half.
A Wagoner defender batted down Collinsville's pass attempt on this 3rd down play forcing the 6th Cardinal punt in the 1st half. Wagoner scored 2 plays after the punt for a 0-35 lead 2:05 before halftime.
