Cheering
For The Cardinals Started Before Their Left Town Friday
Kyle
Lee Smith (#2) leaped high for this 4th quarter interception and hauled it to
the end zone but the play was nullified by a penalty.
Catoosa
fumbled it back a few plays later on this tackle by ___________?? (#2?) setting
the Cards up on the 25 at 5:13 for their final scoring drive.
Aaron
Watts (#35) carried for most of the yards in the final Collinsville scoring
drive and was still standing after the 1 yard run above (despite 4 would-be
Catoosa tacklers). Steven Gerber's PAT kick was good and the Cards led 23-3
with 1:58 left in the game.
Catoosa
managed a late touchdown with 1:12 left despite this play with Tyler Nair (#46)
preventing the completion. Collinsville's Steven Pitts (#47) recovered Catoosa's
onside kickoff and the final score was 23-10.
The
softball Lady Cards continued their support of the football Cardinals at Catoosa
Friday.
"Check
back later" ... the results of these ladies' efforts as CHS yearbook photographers
won't be seen for almost a year ... but the memories will last forever in printed
format.
