New State Fair Ride? -- No, just workers smoothing the newly poured slab at the Early Childhood / Kindergarten building (with Herald Elementary in the back ground). The entire slab was poured in one continuous effort starting in the wee hours and continuing all day. This photo was taken after 1pm Monday. (Similar Coverage)

H.S. Softball Update
Mannford won the 4A State Softball title last week with a finals win over Grove (who had beaten Ft. Gibson in a first round game).

Flu Shots
According to a 10/8/2006 Tulsa World story flu shots and nasal-spray vaccine will be available by appointment at the Collinsville Health Center (1201 W. Center, 596-8650) starting Nov 6th.
The Pack 80 scouts toured the Newspaper Museum In Collinsville Monday evening. This scout group has students from Collinsville, Oologah and Owasso.
Gas Prices
Unleaded gasoline was selling in Collinsville Oct. 6th for $2.05 per gallom at all three local stations. (Previous coverage at $2.18)
Collinsville's Victory Cherokee Organization (VCO) meets at 7pm Tuesday Oct. 10, 2006 at Trinity Faith Cuurch. A new community center is just one of the topics on the agenda. The group will also be showing "The Trail of Tears" documentary Oct. 14th at 5pm.
