The blood drive was
a success as we had a goal of 50 donors and had 53 attempt to give blood.
Of those, 39 were first time donors and 41 total units were collected.
123 lives were saved with our contribution according to the Red Cross.

Middle
School Early Morning Slab Pour
|
I had heard at the recent school board meeting that everything that could be done to make up the rain delays would be done to finish the new middle school buildings in time for next fall. But I was surprised by a sound I didn't recognize about 3am this morning. Noticed a bright light at the school and discovered a large boom, a fleet of concrete trucks, and a crew filling a large portion of the slab under spotlights. -- Ted |

CHS Graduate Pages Are In Progress
Footings for a the new class room addition at the high school have been poured. |
Hope
I don't confuse too many by using photos of the CHS Class of 2006 (taken
today at the Junior Class variety show) to promote the Seniors of 2005
in their upcoming appearance on cvilleok.com. As I did last year for the
2004
graduates, I will build an individual web page for each senior this
year. Those pages should be online sometime in April. Any seniors that
have photos they would like to appear on their page can contact me or
leave them with Mrs. Bowman. I will scan and return them. Parents scan
submit a free message to appear on their graduate's page. Check back in
2006 and you might see these photos again. I am currently selling ads
on the 2005 graduate pages if you would like to help make it possible
for me to take on this massive project. -- Ted Wright (wrightted@aol.com) |
