New Event: Pie Baking Contest

The 2006 Fair Board Says Farewell to Two Former Community (& Fair) Leaders:
Willamae McAfee (1929-2005) &
Kay Bayouth (1913-2006)

Kay was instrumental in the formation of the Collinsville Tri-County Fair and served as treasurer for 34 years.

Willamae was a local youth leader who served the Collinsville Tri-County Fair for over forty years.

Volunteers Needed -- Assistants are needed at entry time, Thursday Aug. 24th, 5-7pm as well as Friday morning to arrange exhibits. If you can help please call Susan Worstell at 371-5425 or Deb Lutz at 371-8236.
There will not be separate indoor 4-H categories this year. 4-H entries will be combined with the existing community categories.

8/23/2006 Update For Saturday
From the Collinsville Round Up Club
Horse rides and dummy roping contest will be held on the lawn just west of the 4-H building (south of the fair barns). The horse rides will begin right after the parade and stop between 2 and 3. The dummy roping contest will be at 1:00 with 3 age groups: 6 and under, 7 - 10, and 11 - 13. A kid rope and a family pass to the rodeo will be given to the winner of each age group and each kid entering will get a kid pass to the rodeo.
