Subject: The Party
Jill,
I'm sorry to have missed the class reunion due to my job work schedule, and my co-workers injury. Now I have to inform you that my wife and I will not be able to make the Birthday party. We will be in Germany visiting our daughter and her family and we will be there for about six weeks. We will be back state side around July 18th. Her husband is an officer in the Air Force and stationed there. We have 7 grand children to date. My wife and I are both retired and have moved to the Syracuse, New York area where her family lives. We had plenty of snow this past winter. The fourth snowiest winter on record. Approximately 180". What did I get myself into. I would like to see all of my classmates someday but don't know when that might happen. Please tell everyone that I said hello. My cell phone number is 817/694/1058. I hope to come back to Collinsville sometime this summer to visit Wendell and my youngest brother Ronald and our parents grave site. Maybe I will get to cross paths with some of you then. Our e-mail address is harroldr@sbcglobal.net. I'm not on facebook nor do I twitter. Thank you

Best Wishes to all Russell Harrold

After all these years there is finally going to be a class reunion and due to a freak accident at work where my coworker stepped in what is called a floor sink and broke his ankle I am not going to be able to attend. I have the whole campus to take care of by myself. Just for the record, shortly after graduating I was drafted into the Army, and spent some time with an Air Defense Artillery outfit and spent some time in Germany. In 1976 I moved to the Ft. Worth, Texas area and have been here ever since. I have helped build the F-16 Fighting Falcon for a number of years and the past twelve, I have been a maintenance engineer for Texas Health Resources Harris Methodist Southwest Hospital, here in Ft Worth. A 230 bed facility. With a little bit of luck I should be able to retire this year. Tell everyone hello and hope to see everyone the next time around.
