The west half of the front
wall & window of the Collinsville Florist building lies in shambles after
being hit by a car Wednesday morning (5/14/2003).
The vehicle involved in
the accident (after being removed from the building).
In
1949 this same building was the home of the Rexall Drug Store.
City
mail carrier, Carrie Allen was struck as the vehicle entered the building. She
was bruised and required several stitches from glass cuts, but apparenly had
no internal injuries.
