| Starting to look familar
again -- Pre brick detail continues to emerge as work continues on
the new facade for Collinsville's Silver Doller Cafe at 11th and Main.
The original building is about 106 years old. A car crashed into the building
January 23, 2017 and took out the middle support post causing the front
facade to cave in. |

| The new steel frame
for the restoration of the front of the building came up during the Tri-County
Fair August 19, 2017. The business has been open for customers (after
just a short outage in January) with a false front in place pending the
rebuild. |
