no issues discovered for 2015-16 school year.
7. Discussion and Vote to Approve the Engagement Letter and Contract
for Kerry John Patten, C.P.A. for the 2016-2017 Audit for Collinsville
Public Schools. -- Approved
8. Building Site Reports --
* Mrs. Hammond and 4 young ECC students demonstrated their "Really
Great Reading" skills for the school board..
* Herald Elem: Bingo Night raised ~$3K & ready
for testing season
* 6th Grade: Time to pre-enroll next year's 6th graders (& 7th STEM
to visit)
* Alternative: 4 new students ... ~38 total now ... graduated 11 so
far ... a few from CMS
* Middle School:
-- Pep Assembly last week ... can't fit
all 7th & 8th graders in MS gym seats
-- 12 chorus superiors at solo and esemble contest
-- STEM at NEO - 1st Children's Story - 2nd in Photography
-- Long list of STEM winners at State Competition
-- Tulsa Tech came today to talk to 8th graders as they prepare for
HS
-- Lifeline Suicide Prevention training - will talk to 8th graders
-- Dance March 21st
-- Ben Davis read great comments from his 7th & 8th graders after
watching the President's congressional address - in his currents event
/ social studies class
* High School:
-- Venture Club - camping and slack line at State Park
-- ~200 pounds of food donated to Dividing Break
-- Olivia Duncan named Oklahoma Academic All-State
-- CHS Prom April 22 at Zoo again
-- NHS partnering with Oologah for senior citizen's prom
-- Winter Guard 1st place - Band doing great - many Division I's
-- Wednesday CPR training for Juniors (and then ACT test March 21st
after spring break)
-- 364 earned exemption Friday for extra day of spring break
-- 13 valedictorians & 3 salutatorians

President and/or Clerk, to Appoint an Acting President and/or acting
Clerk for the School District to Execute Any and All Documents Pertaining
to Setting the Maturities, Date, Time and Place of the Bond Sale.

Maturities of, and Setting a Date, Time and Place for the Sale of the
$1,335,000 Building Bonds of this School District; and Designating Bond

* Kelly Hamlin -- $15K Teacher Lottery Grant applications;
STEM science professional development; March 21 ACT test; April 3-28
testing; Will select District Teacher of Year Friday; Tulsa Community
College - two sections - Math & Comp 1 & 2
* Julie Crutchfield -- State Aid started $7.4 million ... the $7.8 after
mid-term adjust -- then Jan cuts and budget failure
20. Superintendent's Report -- Lance West reported
on these topics:
* Finances - $15.4 million expenses / still hoping for sizable carryover
this year
* MS HVAC work day & night ... to eliminate chilling tower
* Baseball building add-on going well
* HS roof - add metal to English wing side ... this summer
* April 7th starts no Friday classes
* Student advisory council (36 HS students) has met with superintendent
3 times so far

-- Jim Riley: Winter Sports most successful 4
years ever - 2 regional basketball champs. Expecting great things for
spring also
