Tornado Assistance Requested
Former Resident Seeking To Assist
Mexican Tornado Victims
Hi Ted,

My name is Cindy Torres, I was raised in Collinsville and my family is still there, I currently live in Ciudad Acuna, COAH, Mexico, Monday morning our small town was hit by a F4 tornado There was no warning and people here are not familiar with tornadoes, It hit a mere 3 blocks from my home and we very much heard and felt this early morning tornado.

16 lives have been lost with the possibility of death toll rising, 400 homes lost and 4,000 people left with nothing. I started a fundraiser to raise money so I can go out and buy needed items , I directly deliver those items to the affected area, If its not something I can find here, I cross the border into Del Rio, Texas to buy the items.Although the city has been great in regards to cleanup Mexico is nothing like the US, The resources are limited and we need all the help we can get.

So I am reaching out to my home town for support to help these displaced families. I have created a online fundraiser and post updates as I deliver items. If you could share I would really appreciate it.

Thank you for your time.
