Ron Evans To Receive

Collinsville's Ron Evans has been named a "2015 Centurion" by Northeastern State University. Evans (a CHS 1955 grad) will be a guest of NSU at their annual Founder's Day celebration luncheon March 6th, in Tahlequah. The NSU tradition began in 2009 and continues with Evans' name (along with 9 others this year) being added to the list of NSU Centurions "to carry forward the heritage and legacy of our fine institution" according to NSU President Steve Turner.

"An NSU Centurion is an individual whose leadership and commitment, in the course of helping others, has made a significant impact during the university's history. A Centurion honoree may come from any walk of life. Educators, administrators, staff, coaches, entrepreneurs, civic leaders, athletes, entertainers, community supporters and other notable alumni have been honored."

ECC ThanksTo Girl Scouts
On behalf of the Collinsville Early Childhood Center, I want to extend a grateful thank you to the Girl Scout Troop 2054 and community angels. During the month of December, Troop 2054 collected mittens, hats, scarves, and socks from donations within the community and delivered 2 large bags to our students. With approximately 380 students at our site, we are always in need of these warm items. Thank you for partnering with our school in generosity. - Janice K. Pollard Early Childhood Staff

Hogs & BBQ Combined
Attached is an image requesting volunteers for our annual Hogs ’N’ Hot Rods event. We’ve combined the Back Alley BBQ Cook-Off with Hogs this year and are looking for more volunteers than we’ve ever had. Thanks so much,
