You do not need to sign up to be in the parade. Vehicles must enter the park from the West entrance and exit at the East entrance. During the line-up, the road through the park will be ONE-WAY, for the safety of the children. NO vehicles will be allowed to enter the park from the East entrance. When you get to the parade line-up please don't leave any float unattended until you have been told where to park. All vehicles and/or floats need to pull forward as far as they can in the line-up and park on the right side of the road. There is no specific order! It's first come, first in line, with the exception of the band and royalty who are always at the front. If you want to be next to a specific group then you need to arrive at the same time. It will NOT be possible to "save" a space for any group. Please be aware of this before you arrive. Vehicles not driving in the parade will need to park as far off to the left side of the park road as possible. Please decorate all vehicles/floats. As always, no 4-wheelers, skateboards, go-carts, motorcycles, etc. All drivers must be adults, No current HS student may drive a float/vehicle in the parade. Vehicles must also have a passenger to help monitor riders. Coaches/parents: please discuss with your children/players the importance of parade safety, appropriate throwing of candy and behavior. Any misbehavior could result in students not being allowed to participate in the parade. The parade should be safe and fun for all.
