Memorial eliminated Tahlequah's girls in a 40-37 opening game here Thursday. The Collinsville -vs- Miami game was never in doubt as the Cardettes out played the War Dogs in every category. The first quarter ended 15-3 aided by three 3-pointers by Dakota Jefferson. The half time score was 31-10, and 50-19 after 3 quarters, leading to the bench clearing 59-21 final.
The CHS SWAT organization (Students Working Against Tobacco) not only demonstrated the dangers of tobacco and smoking ... but also how difficult is is to put on a frozen t-shirt in their half-time contest.
