William E. Bill Barrett Jr., passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 64. Bill was born on March 3, 1951 in Collinsville to William E. Barrett Sr. and the former Vera Mae Hensley. He was a lifelong member of the area where he worked as a General Contractor until his retirement. Bill married Brenda Sampson in Tulsa on May 19, 1988. His hobbies included playing golf, fishing, boating, camping, and playing Blackjack. In the past, he was a member of the Moose Lodge in Tulsa. He was an OSU alumni and avid OSU football fan. Bill also loved to cook and grill and try out new recipes on Brenda and her friends. Bill especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. They will miss him dearly, as will the rest of his family and friends. Bill is survived by his wife Brenda Barrett of the home; his daughters, Carly Luttrell and her husband Steve, and Elizabeth Gillispie and her husband Josh; his sisters, Diane Barrett and Theresa Dean and her husband Rick; his brothers, John Barrett and Donnie Barrett and his wife Mary Ann; 5 grandchildren, Bryson Luttrell, Cadence Luttrell, Hannah Gillispie, Natalyn Gillispie, and Shayna Gillispie; and a host of extended family and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Glenda Hollenbeck.
