CHS Band 2nd In 5A At Bixby Contest |
The Collinsville
Crimson Cadets competed at the Bixby Band Contest this past Saturday.
The band received 2nd place in class 5A, and 6th place overall. There
were 22 bands that competed that day. Kelsi Boyce received the Outstanding
Drum Major award for class 5A. We are proud of our Cadets, and the hard
work they put in to our show "Remembrance". Their next contest

CHS Cross Country Girls 3rd at Chile Pepper Festival In Arkansas |
Hi Ted, I sent you some pics from Sat. (Oct. 4th) at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival at the University of Arkansas. The Girls took 3rd Place out of 35 teams in the HS Open Division. Teams from several states competed in the National event. -- Coach Arlin Stacy (10/6/2014) |

Rock Gym Front Entry Damaged By Truck Friday |
This photo shows damage to the Rock Gym building at 1108 W. Main Friday afternoon (before 4pm) when a truck backed into the front glass and doorway. Appears no one was hurt. I arrived about 4pm and the truck had already been removed. -- Ted -- Friday 10/10/2014 -- 4:16pm |
I heard a later report that the elderly gentleman was backing out from OK Barber Shop parking (3 doors to the west) and the gas stuck and his truck did a half circle east into the Rock Gym. -- Ted |
