Varsity volleyball lost to Catoosa (ranked #6 in 5A) 25-18, 22-25, 24-26, 25-27. -- Toni Slagle (9/27/2012)
The 7th & 8th grade volleyball girls competed in the Catoosa Volleyball Tournament today. Both came away with championships! -- The 8th grade record now stands at 16-0 and the 7th grade is 15-1. Both are having outstanding seasons with two more home matches. We host Victory Christian on Tuesday starting at 4:00 and will finish the year hosting the Metro Lakes Conference Tournament on Friday. First matches starts at 8:30 and will run all day. These young ladies and coaches have worked extremely hard throughout the year. Come out and support them. Thanks, Art Smalygo (9/24/2012)

Varsity volleyball placed 3rd in the Bartlesville Tournament this weekend. In pool play they beat Mustang 26-24, 25-17, 22-25, 25-9 and Ponca City 25-13, 25-16, 25-18 and lost to Bartlesville (ranked #10 in 6A) 18-25, 25-22, 17-25, 16-25. We lost to Shawnee (ranked #10 in 5A) in the first round of the winners bracket 23-25, 18-25, 10-25 and beat Bishop Kelley JV for a 3rd place finish 25-22, 25-23, 25-22. Varsity volleyball girls lost to Booker T. Washington (ranked #2 in 5A) 17-25, 20-25 and Shawnee (ranked #7 in 5A) 22-25, 18-25. Then, they beat Tahlequah (ranked #11 in 5A) 25-18, 25-11. In the semi-finals they lost to Oklahoma Bible Academy (ranked #10 in 5A) 17-25, 25-23, 12-25. Kyrston Wheeler made the alternative team. -- Toni Slagle 9/9/2012
The varsity volleyball girls competed in the first day of the competitive Catoosa tournament today finishing 2-2. They beat Victory Christian (ranked #5 in 5A) 25-21, 25-19 and Verdigris (ranked #4 in 4A) 25-15, 25-18 and lost to Catoosa (ranked #8 in 5A) 21-25, 22-25 and Oklahoma Bible Academy (ranked #10 in 5A) 18-25, 24-26. -- Toni Slagle 9/7/2012

I only stopped by the CHS gym briefly Friday during the JrHi Conference Tournament and at that mid-point the Collinsville 7th Graders already had wins over Claremore and Tahlequah. The Collinsville 8th graders had beaten Skiatook and Tahlequah. And the 8th graders finished off Coweta in the photos below while I was there. -- Ted
