Collinsville Health & Wellness
Meeting: Sept. 27th
Greetings,

It seems like a lifetime since our last meeting. This has been a crazy time of year for everyone I know. We will be meeting next Thursday, September 27 at 4:00pm. (at Collinsville City Hall)

Of course there are many projects going on and I know everyone involved with those projects could use the help. So, bring some friends and community members.

Kudos to the City of Collinsville for its planned Breast Cancer Awareness events that will be taking place in October.

They will be needing help and you will want to be a part of these awesome events.

We will be discussing these events at our meeting next week.

As I drove around the City taking pictures of the new streets and addition to Charlie’s park I was so impressed with what all has been accomplished in a very short amount of time. Let’s keep things moving in the right direction.

I hope to see you next week!

Dance For Love, Dance For Hope
Hello, My name is Mi’Shell Garrett, I am a 17 year old Junior who attends Oklahoma Virtual High School, I am writing to you to spread awareness about an event I am hosting.

Dance for Love, Dance for Hope is a Dance Convention benefitting the Laura Dester Children’s Shelter. Dance for Love, Dance for Hope is coming upon it’s 4th year each year growing larger and larger. This year the event is being held on November 3rd, right around Christmas time. It is important that even though these children are in the Shelter they receive a good Christmas, I have partnered with the Tulsa Advocate’s for the Protection of Children, to hopefully make their holidays a little brighter.

Below I have included all the information that you will need to get involved in Dance for Love, Dance for Hope. Whether you are an experienced dancer or someone who is just looking for something fun to do on your Saturday, Dance for Love, Dance for Hope is an event for everyone!

Please help me spread awareness about this event! Thanks, Mi’Shell

It is a FULL day of dance! 8 classes, taught by 8 different teachers, ALL from Oklahoma. These fantastic teachers have generously donated their time to my convention. The cost of the convention is $40, and in addition we encourage our participants to bring a new or barely used, toy, or clothing article to donate to the shelter. If you plan on writing a check please make it payable to Tulsa Advocates for the Protection of Children or TAPC.

This year Dance for love will be held at PC Dance Company, located at 3939 S Harvard Tulsa, Ok on November 3rd.
