Stanley Sallee (left) and
Max West (right) are racing solar cars. Using flashlights to represent the sun,
and power the cars. Students built their own cars and we had a tournament to
see whose car performed the best. Max was runner-up, Owasso student Sarah Theims
was the Champion of this class. This class is made up of 4 Collinsville Sophomores
and 5 Owasso Sophomores. This is Tulsa Tech Principles of Engineering 2nd year
Pre Engineering course. There is also a freshman Introduction to Engineering
Design Pre Engineering class composed of 9 Collinsville students and 5 Owasso
students. Owasso has allowed Collinsville students to participate in these classes.
