incident. 18 year old Guadalupe Cruz Vargas was admitted to Tulsa St.
Francis Hospital in critical condition with head, external trunk, internal

Collinsville EMS and Collinsville Rural Fire responded to a call reporting a male pedestrian hit & run victim about 11:15pm Thursday night. The incident occured outside the city limits north on 19th St. near Horse Pen Creek (159th Place N.). The victim's injuries included a likely broken pelvis and Tulsa Life Flight was called to transport the patient from the heli-pad at the Rural Fire station. I have an ID for the victim but will withhold until later today. An initial report indicated a white truck had been involved but have no confirmation for that. It was after midnight when the patient was transferred from the waiting ambulance into the helicopter headed to Tulsa. -- Ted Wright -- 12:40am Friday May 13, 2011 |
