Hayden West (#20) scored for the Cardinal 5th Graders on the 2nd play from scrimmage.
Sapulpa Blue fumbled to the Cards late in the 1st quarter.
Matthew Blissit (#8) scored on this run near the end of the 1st quarter. The extra point kick was good for a 14-0 score.
Justin Sutton (#78) kickoff
QB Carson Stout (#11) prepares to handoff.
Matthew Blissit (#8) scored his second touchdown on this 55 yard run to begin the 2nd quarter.
The defense added a 2-point safety to the Cardinal scoring to reach 22-0 .
Matthew Blissit (#8) scored his 3rd TD of the first half on this 8 yard run.
Trace Jeffries (#25) finished the first half scoring for the Collinsville 5th graders with this 35 yard interception return with 1:46 left in the 2nd quarter. The half-time score was 34-0.
The Sapulpa QB just managed to get this pass off in the 2nd half but it was intercepted.
I'm not sure if I made a mistake in my notes or if there is a special scoring system for teams with big leads in the 2nd half ... as the only score in the second half (a 45 yard Blissit run ... his 4th TD of the game) apparently added only a single point to the score board as I noted a 35-0 final score after a 34-0 half score. -- Ted
Brandon Simms (#43) with a second half carry.
From Kurtis Kite 9/21/2010: Just an FYI. From the INFC Rulebook:

Article 8: Mercy Rule: At which time a team reaches the 35-point spread, the score will freeze but the game will continue as normal with regular clock unless the loosing team coach requests the option of a continuous running clock. No further points will be allowed on the scoreboard by either team. Normal participation rules must be followed prior to the freeze.
