Long Load
An extra long cyclindrical cargo made it's was through Collinsville this morning (Oct. 14, 2010) pulled by a truck and a set of wheels holding up the back end. There were some issues with road signs getting into town on the east and concerns for the up-coming S-Curve.

Coach Tommy Redding's Jr. Hi Football Update -- October 12, 2010
The 7th grade “Blue” Team traveled to Skiatook Monday night. Both teams slugged it out on the grid iron. It took just 3 plays for Skiatook to reach pay dirt. The Cardinals took their first possession and controlled the clock for the remainder of the first quarter. First down after first down, the Cardinals marched down the field. The half ended 7-0 Bulldogs. Collinsville repeated the ball control dominance in the 3rd and 4th quarter. The Cards scored late in the 4th and converted the extra point to tie. Both teams had a possession late in the 4th but were unable to break the tie. Final score 7-7. No injuries were reported.
The coaches are very excited about the effort and enthusiasm the Blue Squad displayed.
We had a nice fan following to Skiatook. The players and coaches appreciate this. Collinsville’s number one fan, former coach and now Superintendent Terry Due, was seen cheering on the Cardinals and directing the Collinsville fans to the visitor bleachers along with Athletic Director Jim Riley.
The Cardinals take on the Bulldogs again on Thursday with a full schedule of games. Game time is 5:00. Hope to see you there.
Go Cardinals!
