9/16/2010 Tulsa World's Coverage of McAlester Game

Issac Dyer (#23) broke up this McAlester pass attempt in the endzone early in the 3rd quarter but McAlester scored a few plays later on a 3 yard run. The score reached 6-34 at 10:11 in the 3rd quarter.
Patrick Moss (#65) couldn't reach this McAlester pass which moved them out to the 46 yard line after they took over on downs following a Cardinal drive which stalled at the 20 after an apparent Lowe TD was called back for holding. McAlester eventually scored to reach 6-41.
Shane Douglass (left) releases a pass caught by Joe Keith (right) at the Card's 47 yard line just before the end of the 3rd quarter.
Hunter West (#33) reached the 32 yard line on this play from the 48 early in the 4th quarter.
Josh Pennington (#81) carried from the 24 to the 13 on this play.
Shane Douglass (#9 above) scored on this 8 yard keeper with 9:44 left in the game.
This is a closer view from the TD photo (left) showing Josh Pennington getting a shot to the face. Nothing was called and likely would have been declined as Douglass scored.
Zane McElroy (#13) kicked two 4th quarter extra points.This one made the score 13-41.
Jacob Numbers (#27) took a Taylor Woodall pass from the 33 yard line down to the 11 aided by a facemask penalty in the closing minutes.
Taylor Woodall (#12) took this keeper down to the McAlester 2 yard line.
Jake Graham (#20) carried the final 2 yards of the Card's final scoring drive. The score came with 1:31 left in the game. McElroy's kick made the final score 20-41.
