Attorney Morgan Powell Spoke
To Chamber Meeting
Ribbon Cuttings Followed At Action Sports

Attorney Morgan Powell

Morgan Powell has been an attorney in Collinsville for 15 years. He started his legal career with JAG and then later putting drug dealers behind bars.

His address to the monthly Chamber meet covered a variety of proactive estate planning options including simple will (requiring probate), simple joint trust, revokable living wills, guardianship, power of attorney, co-trustees, medical record releases, etc. He reminded that trusts don't work if the assests aren't formally put in the trust and that trusts/assests should be reviewed yearly. He also reminded that you are never too old and no estate is too small to benefit from careful estate planning.
