The Saturday photo (left) includes spouses and guests for the CHS 1960 Fifty Year Reunion. The Friday photo (below) is just classmates.
A good sized crowd nearly filled the Collinsville Middle School Commons where the banquet was held.
"Elvis" (aka Ron Evans) made an appearance and posed with some CHS fans who had used a clever ploy to get good seats for a real Elvis show many years ago.
Darlene Bowman Dunn, Judy Monroe, and Willa Keith were the winners in the best dressed (1950s style) contest.
Willa was wearing her actual uniform from the 1950s when she worked at the Collinsville Rexall Drug Store as a "soda jerk".
Darlene Bowman Dunn provided a 1950's ice cream soda made of balloons which was about 6 feet tall.
Sorry, I am so far behind (working on my own CHS 1969 class reunion & normal business) that I am not going to do photos of each class nor entertainers for this page. For those of you that requested prints of individual class groups, I hope to start on those in the next week. -- Ted Wright 6/15/2010
