We are an active part of the communities we serve because they are the places we call home. The members we serve live, work and play in the lush rolling hills of northeastern Oklahoma.
Headquartered in Collinsville, Oklahoma, VVEC is a distribution electric cooperative. We provide electric service to residential, commercial and industrial consumers through more than 32,000 meters and more than 4,500 miles of electric line in portions of Nowata, Osage, Rogers, Tulsa and Washington counties.
Among
the 26 electric cooperatives operating in Oklahoma, VVEC is the third largest
based on the number of meters served by the co-op. Ninety-two employees cover
the Cooperatives more than 3,200-square mile service territory daily maintaining
the electric system and providing consumer-oriented service.

Meet:
August 2010 |
This new drawing by LandPlan Consultants show the latest proposal for the master plan at Collinsville City Park. It incorporated all the new park features which became reality in 2010 as well as many more that could be considered in the future. |
This is just a portion of the larger overview (below) showing a few proposed additional park improvements. Additional parking, walking trail, pond, and an 18-hole Frisbee Golf Course (yellow dashed lines) are also included below. No action was taken Monday as there was not a quorum for the Park Board but another meeting is likely in the near future to hopefully meet some end-of-January grant deadlines which might help with funding for some features. If you have comments or recommendations let me (or the park board or city commissio) know. -- Ted Wright 12/21/2010 |
