We
would like to thank everyone for their show of support for the Basketball and
Baseball programs by attending the Harlem Ambassadors fund-raiser event. A special
thanks goes to the many donors, Wanna Bees players and sponsors, Collinsville
News, cvilleok.com, Collinsville Public Schools, the baseball and basketball players
(and parents), booster club members and volunteers for helping to promote and
carry out this event. The number in attendance far exceeded our expectations and shows the generosity of this community. We wish to thank all who donated their time, money and effort in making it an enjoyable evening of family fun. Thank
you. |

Museum In Collinsville Attn: Editor-in-Chief
Dear Editor-in-Chief,
On January 14, 2009, the Collinsville Cardinal Homerun Club hosted the Harlem Ambassadors professional show basketball team for a night of high-flying slam dunks, hilarious comedy, and feel-good family entertainment.
The Harlem Ambassadors would like to extend a special thank you to event organizers Danny Chronister and Scott Lowe, who planned and promoted the game. The Wanna Bees proved to be an energetic and enthusiastic challenging team and we thank all of the players for their good sportsmanship. The event would not have been possible without the support and generosity of local community sponsors, the Collinsville Cardinal Homerun Club committee members, and the event volunteers.
The Harlem Ambassadors thank the community of Collinsville for its warm hospitality and look forward to returning to Collinsville in the future!
Best
regards, |
