Pryor's left fielder couldn't reach Linsey Curtis' walk-off homer as it cleared the fence.
This Linsey Curtis swing provided 3-runs and a trip to State for Collinsville Thursday.
Marysa Trost made this diving catch ending Pryor's half of the 4th inning after they had tied the score at 1-1 on a single and an error.
Devin Herrel made this catch for the 2nd Pryor out in the 6th inning with the score still tied at 1-1.
This Pryor base runner just avoided the Rachel Pitt's tag attempt at the plate after another 8th inning single. Pryor was up 1-3 and looking to force another game to decide the Regional championship.
The Collinsville Lady Cards celebrated after Linsey Curtis completed the 8th inning comeback to avoid an extra game.
Game 3: Collinsville was down 1-3 in the bottom of the 8th before a Marysa Trost single, a Lacie Cook single and a 3-run 2-out home run by Linsey Curtis gave the Lady Cards a 4-3 win over Pryor.
Kylee Cole and Pryor's pitcher each gave up only a single run in the first 7 innings here Thursday.
Brittni Schmauss (running for Rachel Pitts) scored the first Collinsville run in the 3rd inning on a Linsey Curtis single. Coach Miike Henry put up a stop sign holding Lacie Cook (who reached on a walk) at 3rd. Linsey was out at 2nd and then Lacie was tagged out at home (below) on continuation of the play ending the inning.
This Pryor double in the 8th inning was just beyond the glove of Marysa Trost and followed a 2-out walk giving Pryor a 1-run lead.
Lauryn Mulliner has video proof the Collinsville Lady Cards are 5A Regional Champs.
The 8th inning winning swing by Linsey Curtis that blasted the ball over the left field wall for a 3-run home run and punched the Lady Cards ticket to the State Tournament in OKC next week. Linsey is the only active player remaining from the 2005 4A State Championship Collinsville Team and if my memory serves me had an at-bats in the tournament 4 years ago as a freshman. -- Ted
