Rapidly Improving Gas Prices?

$2.45 per gallon for regular unleaded gas was the price in Collinsville about 7:40pm tonight (10/20/2008). I first noticed the price drop below $3.00 in the Oct. 8th photo below on my way to the morning regional softball game. The price had dropped again before the afternoon regional game that same day and has been sliding steadily since. (Previous coverage at $3.49 Aug. 12, 2008)
Following the previous coverage chain backwards, I found $3.79 in May 2008 as the highest local price I had a photo for, but suspect we may have been closer to $4 gas for a brief period earlier this year. Also found $1.97 gas in Nov. 2006.-- Ted

Undefeated Showdown Saturday
Collinsville's 6th grade football team has an undefeated record coming into our last season game on Saturday night (10/25) 7:30pm at home. We will play Jenks Black which is the only other undefeated team in our division. We would like to invite all to come out and support our team.
