An occupant of this vehicle is sitting up with his head bandaged after crossing the center median and then southbound lanes of Highway 169 Wednesday (Sept. 26th) just before 2pm. There were apparently no other vehicles struck by the northbound vehicle which ended up on it's side west of the highway between 126th and 136th St. North. -- Ted 2:55pm 9-26-2007
The brand new Reasor's grocery store (along with a bank, pharmacy, and photo shop inside) opened Sunday Sept. 30, 2007 at Highway 169 and 116th St. North. While it is nice to see such a facility several miles closer to Collinsville (for convenience) it is still outside of the Collinsville city limits. Sales tax dollars spent there will support continued growth for Owasso at the expense of Collinsville. (See recent sales tax results ... a significant portion of the Collinsville City budget is dependent on these small local sales tax dispersements.)
