15) Assistant Superintendent's Report. -- Terry
Due's report:
- ECC
-- exterior brick work nearing completion, sheetrock 98% complete
inside. Approximate July 15 move in date likely.
- Track's
2nd top coat finished. Striping could occurs soon. Limited use possible
now but public use will be encouraged after the stripes and a turnstile
are added. Bikes, skateboards or other devices will not be allowed
as they would damage the track surface. Camera surveillance was discussed.
- ECC
building & track will both be showcase facilities for the district.
- An
additional (used) driver's ed car will be purchased for $4800. A 2002
Chevy Malibu with 54K miles
16) Superintendent's Report.
-- Pat Herald's report:
- School
summer work week is Monday-Thursday with Friday's off and air conditioning
reduced to save money. Back to normal work week in August.

Announcements.
-
Education Foundation Golf Tournament is June 14th ... still need additional
teams and sponsors ... as the event supports the schools.
- Another
excellent CHS graduation (May 2007). Next year may be final year that
Claremore Expo is large enough before a differen location will be
needed.
18) New Business (if any):
- Minor
mods to MS and CHS policy booklets were approved. The books will go
to the printer 6/5 to be ready by August. (Middle school start time
will be 7:50am (like HS) to allow announcements to not shorten first
period & time for notes after absense reduced to 2 days from 5)
- Declared
Maza surplus with additional driver;s ed car purchase.
- Rare
Non school use of buses (by churches or other organizations) was discussed
with the likehood of raising the fees to help defray climbing gas
prices.
