Friends Of The Collinsville Library
FOCL is looking for outgoing, community- and educational-minded people to fill the following vacancies in the FOCL Board: Treasurer and Secretary

No experience necessary. These folks get to help plan and organize our events such as the Gala, Mystery Dinner, and Poker Run and, as always, new ideas are always welcome! Take part in your community and help raise funds (and friends) for the Collinsville Library!!

I took a quick look at this new flood plain map (see link below) but did not have time to learn what all of the blue overlay and symbols mean. Would be glad to take any comments or questions but you would probably be better off going directly to Bob Wolfram or Janet K. Meshek. Just draw a rectangle with your cursor to zoom in on an area of interest. -- Ted Wright -- Aug. 16, 2007
Ted,

A 90 day public comment period started on August 8 by FEMA related to new FEMA flood maps. At the end of the 90 day comment period these maps will replace the existing 199 maps. Please feel free to post the web link below so citizens can access this interactive map resource.

We have created a public website for the 90-day review period under contract with Tulsa County. It is not password protected and will be linked to their tulsacounty.org site. You may link to this site from your website if you so desire. If you get questions about the new floodplain, please refer people to this one. We will be changing the password on the other website soon.

The new public site is located at: www.meshekgis.com/floodmap
