Are Invited To An Open House
for the 60th Anniversary of the Collinsville Veterans Building located at 9th and Main. |

This undated photo photo (most likely from the early 1940s) shows the open land being used for a rodeo where the Collinsville Veterans building has stood for the past 60 years. This view is facing north (from perhaps where the fair barns are today) towards Main Street. The three building visible across Main Street were Crockers Garage (where Greybeards is now); the "Sale Barn" (most recently Clark's Feed Store); and in the center under the edge of the trees the Sante Fe Depot in it's original location next to the tracks. |
The Veterans Building has housed many Collinsviile events and activities in the past 60 years (with the 2006 Collinsville Tri-County Fair above as an example). |
