Finish With A Flurry
Kyle
Lee Smith took this 4th down pass from Tyler Chronister down to the 11 yard
line late in the 4th quarter.
David
Chester (#82) took the next 4th down pass from Chronister and scored with 4
minutes left in the game. Chronister's PAT kick made the score 21-49.
Collinsville's
defense forced Oologah to punt again in the 4th quarter with about half a minutes
left setting up the final Cardinal score.
This
is one of three consecutive passes from Lane Coulter to Kyle Lee Smith in the
closing seconds of the game to move from the Collinsville 33 to Oologah's 3
yard line with 5.1 seconds left. The next Coulter pass went to Kevin Phillips
for the touchdown with .6 seconds left.
Lane
Coulter (#7) capped the closing Collinsville drive with a 2-point pass to Dalton
Rasmussen on this play for the final 29-49 score.
The
Oologah band marched their performance after the game was completed with Collinsville's
Band and a few loyal fans staying late to watch.
