According to the Tulsa World, Collinsville's Josh Walker has been named to the 2006 Oklahoma Coaches Association "Large East" All-State Baseball Team. I have one email report that Josh is the first CHS Baseball Cardinal to make the All-State team in 10 years. (A later email received 5/25: "Seems that Jake Bunch made the All-State Team in 2000 and Cory Ryder was All-State in 2002. Additionaly in 2002 was the year that Coach Reeder was the All-State coach.")
Also named in a May 24th, 2006 Tulsa World report several Collinsville High School baseball players received Tulsa Seven Conference recognition. David Chester was named "player of the year" (along with Blake Kelley of Oologah). Collinsville shortstop Kevin Phillips, catcher Ryan Coe, outfielder Brad Aguillard and pitcher Josh Walker also made the all-conference team.
