Several Collinsville fire and emergency units responded to a large grassfire just before midnight Wednesday near 161st E. Ave. and 136th St. North. The fire was being blown to the north from near 136th and close to homes and oil wells. I left before the fire was out (to start this page) but it appeared to be pretty well contained by about 12:30am Thursday. -- Ted
The clear sky was lit up with fire and moonlight this morning.
