Someday -- later in 2007? -- we should be able to go straight ahead at 5th & Broadway instead of turning to Main to reach Highway 169.
Someday -- even later ... after the Broadway Bridge is completed -- The bridge on Main Street will be replaced with a multi-lane BlackJack Creek crossing.
Tulsa County heavy equipment and workers removed the old bridge abutment from the west bank yesterday (Dec. 13th) and were working on the east bank today (Dec. 14th above). The new bridge will be much longer (& wider) than the bridge removed in 1986.
