16 Teams Compete In Collinsville Thursday & Saturday
Rebyl Richardson (#20) ended up on her knees fielding this Bixby bunt but managed a back handed flip to 2nd baseman Hillary Brown (#16) covering 1st for the put out. Pitcher Kelli Dunagan watches. Kelli struck out the majority of Bixby batters in the first few innings. The final score was 6-0 Collinsville.
Coach Dave Cross told me the new score board has arrived and is scheduled to be installed Saturday. I will then hopefully be better able to track outs / innings and scores. -- Ted
Note to Kelli Dunagan: my arm is fine ... and yes you can still be on the web site ... not your fault if I don't get out of the way of a foul ball. -- Ted
Jessica Carney (running for either the pitcher or catcher?) slides safely into third (above) then scored with the ball landing just in front of the plate on a Bixby fielding error (right).

Taylor Whisenhunt heading for home (right) as Bixby fielders chase down a Kelli Dunagan double for the game's first score.
Danielle Kern is ready on third and scored the game's 2nd run on a Kelli Dunagan bloop into center. Bixby hurt their cause with several fielding errors.
Hillary Brown scored easily on a Lindsey Curtis RBI single for the final 6-0 score.
